The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the more info lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point designed for intervention ordeals a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to permit the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
